It only takes one...
Well,

I have decided on the advice of a friend to make this journal "Friends only". I've decided to do this for several reasons.

Leaving the journal public really has no positive sides, and potentially only negative ones; ie - if someone were to show the journal to a current, or potential employer, it might make getting a new job, or the environment in my current job more difficult. It's also possible someone might be able to use it for nefarious purposes. Do I really need everyone on the Internet reading my journal to begin with?

No one individual has used anything I've posted here to my knowledge. Life is all about weighing risks with benefits, and I just ultimately decided that the risks of keeping parts of the journal wide open were not worth the potential downsides to keeping things public.

This is not being done because I've gone completely paranoid. I'm not. Do you know me, and want to be added to my Friends list? Send me an email posted in my profile, or post a comment to this only public thread, and I'll be happy to add you.
